Program
Board the dahabiya Ankh, your private sailing vessel for the coming days. The crew welcomes you on deck as your Nile exploration begins.
Visit the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu. Continue sailing to Gebel Silsileh to explore the ancient sandstone quarries before navigating onward to Fares.
Alternate between tranquil sailing and leisurely walks along the Nile’s riverbanks, passing gardens of palms, mango trees, sugarcane fields and visit a Nubian village.
Sail toward Kom Ombo and visit the temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus.
Walk to the nearby village of Daraw to explore its traditional souk and camel market. Continue with a peaceful stroll through the Nubian village of Koubaneya.
Sail to Aswan and visit two of its most iconic landmarks: the High Dam and the extraordinary Temple of Philae.
End the day wandering through the colorful souks of Aswan.
Enjoy a free morning on board, or join an optional full-day excursion to Abu Simbel (approx. 560 km), departing early and crossing the desert to the shores of Lake Nasser.
